Tico Adventure Lodge - Samara

I had a wonderful and relaxing stay at a lovely hotel in Samara. The room was clean, comfortable, and had both a fan and A/C. The bathroom was a good size and the shower was great. I loved the little seating area outside. The hotel was beautiful with lots of lush plants and a cool pool. The outdoor kitchen was perfect for preparing meals. The location was ideal, just a few minutes' walk to the town and beach. The staff were friendly and gave helpful suggestions. it was exactly what I needed for a relaxing break. I will definitely be back. I highly recommend this hotel.

The property is beautiful and surrounded by lush vegetation. You can hear birds and monkeys in the morning. It's conveniently located near the beach, restaurants, and stores. The lush tropical forest surroundings made us feel like we were in paradise, yet it was just a short walk to the heart of Samara. Our room on the second floor wasnice and neat, complete with a private balcony and a hammock that my daughter loved. The resort had everything we needed and more, including a refreshing pool and a common kitchen. It was a great place for families, with plenty of shared spaces to explore. We also enjoyed meeting other travelers and the staff was attentive. I highly recommend Tico Adventure Lodge for a nice family getaway.

We had a romantic escape and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and close proximity to the beach. The rooms were clean and the air conditioning kept us comfortable during the hot weather. We also appreciated the friendly and helpful staff who made our stay enjoyable.

It was frustrating having to constantly juggle our groceries and make space for other guests. the noise from the street was quite bothersome, especially with the loud quads and other vehicles passing by.

The lovely pool in the courtyard was perfect for relaxing after a day of surfing. The mix of young, old, and international travelers made for a great atmosphere. The surf lessons through the hotel were affordable and enjoyable. We loved that there was a common kitchen to use, and despite the coconut tree noise during one week of the year, we had a laugh about it. The hotel's location, just a 3-minute walk to the beach, was fantastic. we had a great experience and would highly recommend this hotel.

The room cleanliness was not up to par, with the garbage not being emptied regularly. The shower water was not consistently warm, requiring a longer wait for a comfortable temperature.

The close proximity to the beach allowed for easy access to the fine coastline. I especially enjoyed relaxing on the balcony of my room, swinging in the hammock and enjoying the peaceful ambiance. The hotel's garden was a good treat, and the well-equipped kitchen was a bonus for those looking to save money on meals. the attentive staff ensured that our room was cleaned to perfection every night.

Kitchen has potholders and good coffee. Howler monkeys nearby. a very nice place with a community feel. Would recommend.

Absolutely loved the natural setting and rustic charm of this place! Being surrounded by the jungle was amazing. The place was a bit overpriced compared to similar accommodations in the area. It was also a bit farther from the beach than expected, about a 15-minute walk.
